Mark Ensom started his career young. At just 19 years old, he qualified as a builder and stepped into an industry that rewards both skill and persistence. Construction was not just a job. It was a trade he learned from the ground up.
Soon after qualifying, Ensom left home to gain experience overseas. He spent several years in London running his own construction business. The experience exposed him to a fast-moving building environment and a wide range of projects.
Looking back, he says the early years shaped how he approaches work today.
“I learned very quickly that construction rewards people who show up every day and get things done,” Ensom says. “If you work hard and treat people fairly, opportunities tend to follow.”
Those lessons would guide the next stage of his career.
